Wow – October has been a whirlwind! I've flown to Kodiak, ferried across the Shelikof Strait to Homer, and driven over 1,000 miles through Alaska and Canada, all the way to Haines for the ferry back to Juneau. Three days later, I traveled hundreds of miles through Denali National Park and got to see the most epic mountain in North America – Mount McKinley!
Along the way, I've witnessed breathtaking rainbows in Kodiak, seen street-crossing caribou near Tok, ferried down the Lynn Canal, hobnobbed with Talkeetna’s honorary Mayor Stubbs, and even danced on stage with Barrow's Suurimmaanitchuat dancers, who also performed at President Obama's inauguration.
I'll be back soon once I've had time to recover from all these adventures. In the meantime, have a blessed week and look forward to photos and videos later!
